Donald Deskey andirons, brass and wrought iron, signed. Brass blade or obelisk motif andirons by Donald Deskey for Bennett. Deskey's design was inspired by the Trylon sphere exhibited at 1939 world's fair. Brass fronts are not lacquered so they will tarnish. Both shanks signed Bennett with an impressed logo.
