Polia Pillin ceramic vase pottery horse woman signed, USA, 1960s. In excellent condition with no issues. Cylindrical form vase decorated with a woman and horse in grey blue tones with splashes of magenta and tangerine. Pillin, (1909- 1992), opened her pottery business in 1948 in Los Angeles. Her work depicts women, fish, horses, and other animals. Her work has been described as Byzantine in style, with similarities to the work of Chagall. Signed Pillin on the underside of the vase.
