Aldo Londi for Bitossi Cinese Lamp, Ceramic, Blue, Gold, Italy, 1960s. Tall lamp with blue textured cylinder body and embellished with gold glazed bands at the pinched top and tapered bottom. A rare example from Aldo Londi's Cinese Series which included vases, boxes, and Buddha busts with the same glaze and pattern details - the evocation of ancient Chinese bronze works. Signed on the underside in black glaze: 52/16 Base Made in Italy.
