Bitossi vase, ceramic, white, green, black, textured, signed. Medium scale vase decorated with bands of pebbled volcanic glaze in pale green and matte black over white. Signed: "64 Italy" on the underside.
Ettore Sottsass collaborated with Bitossi in mid 1950's. His forms, glazes and colors influenced the work produced by Bitossi during that period. This vase is an example of his influence but is not by his hand.
