Aldo Londi Bitossi Raymor Vase, Ceramic, Abstract, Geometric, Signed. Chunky ovoid ceramic vase designed by Aldo Londi for Bitossi, from the same patchwork series as our tall example. Bulbous, organic form with gently tapering neck and base. Decorated with an abstract geometric patchwork in burnt orange, yellow, cream, burgundy, and charcoal gray, articulated by incised horizontal lines creating a deeply textured surface. Signed in black glaze to the underside “822 Italy,” with remnants of a Raymor paper decal.
