1950s Aldo Londi for Bitossi Raymor Ceramic Vase, Signed

Chunky ovoid ceramic vase designed by Aldo Londi for Bitossi, from the same patchwork series as the taller example. The vase features a bulbous, organic form with a gently tapering neck and base.

The surface is decorated with an abstract geometric patchwork in burnt orange, yellow, cream, burgundy, and charcoal gray, articulated by incised horizontal lines that create a deeply textured surface. Signed in black glaze on the underside “822 Italy,” with remnants of a Raymor paper label.
