1970s Bruno Gambone Striped Ceramic Vessel, Signed
$3,950.00Price
Tall stoneware vessel by Bruno Gambone, produced in the 1970s. The form was originally produced as a lamp base and is presented here as a sculptural ceramic vessel. It measures approximately 24.5 inches in height.
The vessel is glazed in alternating horizontal bands of black, yellow, and caramel brown, a colorway characteristic of Gambone’s work from this period. The slender bottle-form profile gives the piece strong vertical presence and allows it to function effectively as a standalone sculptural object in an interior.
Signed in the glaze on the underside “Gambone Italy” and retaining a paper studio decal marked “024.”
