George Nelson Nightstands by Herman Miller, Walnut & Aluminum, Model 4617, 1960s. Handsome walnut bedside cabinets/nightstands, purchased by Solo Modern, from the estate of famed Mad Magazine cartoonist, Mort Drucker. Stamped '4617' with stencil on both backs. The draw pulls are zinc plated brushed metal.

The turned aluminum Thin Edge legs were custom ordered from Herman Miller by Mr. Drucker. Outline of an old label is visible on inside of one drawer. One of the back panels was modified and has a cluster of small holes. In good original condition but there is a small burn to one top - Photo 17.  Scattered scratches and finish wear to both cabinets.

Good: Wear consistent with age and use. In good original estate condition with scratches to the tops of the cabinets. In good original condition but there's a cigarette burn to the top of one cabinet . There are scattered scratches and finish wear to both cabinets.
