Karl Springer coffee table, Shagreen, Bone. Large scale blue shagreen over wood square cocktail table with bone details on the table's surface and bone covered leg caps. Luxuriously hand-crafted in the Philippines for NYC designer and retailer Karl Springer in the 1980s. The underside is painted black and in the center underside is the outline of a brass signature plate which was previously attached. We have sold two of these tables previously, both had a brass tag which read: "Karl Springer Hand Made in Philippines" and a small paper label identifying the table as KS-045 and KS-45 respectively.
