Untitled Victor Burgin, acrylic painting on canvas, color field signed. A student work by Burgin, who later became known as a photographer and a conceptual artist. Signed on verso: Signed V. Burgin RCA. Burgin, born 1941, executed the work at the Royal College of Art in London, where he received his A.R.C.A (1st Class) from The Royal College of Art in 1965. He received his M.F.A. from Yale University in 1967.

Painting is being sold in as is condition: unrestored. The colors are still vibrant but the surrounding non painted canvas is soiled and has one area of discoloration in the upper right section. Mr. Burgin has seen images of the work and has authenticated it via his dealer. Email thread available upon request.
